Executive Armed Protection

Executive Protection is the integration and deployment of physical and technical security measures and countermeasures to protect the life of the Protectee(s), corporate assets, or property. An extensive confidential interview will take place to obtain a proper Client history. If threats are discovered, they will be identified, validated, and classified. Our Executive Protection Specialists will conduct Threat Assessments and Site Advance work before any protective detail has begun. Good planning is the best way to avoid a tragedy.

Every element of an Executive Security Operation is compiled into a security report, sometimes referred to as operational orders. Each team leader in charge of each element compiles their own report relating to their part of the operation. The security team manager collates and reviews all data and drafts an overarching report to ‘Quality Assure’ the plan. Every member of the team is then thoroughly briefed to ensure they are fully aware of all aspects of the Executive Armed Protection operation. The team leader will also conduct a briefing for the executive and relevant staff so everyone is aware of the relevant points pertaining to them. This will be a summarized brief outlining detail such as arrival points, escort detail, and broad instructions in the event of an emergency. Communication is key.

Communication is always key with our Clients and your team. We encourage strong communication through phone calls, email, text, or written reports, depending on the situation and your needs. Whether an armed protection detail or investigation, it is necessary that the Client is not in the ‘dark,’ wondering what is happening. Your team will guide you through the process, keeping you informed at all times. With our team by your side, you can rest easy that your best interests are our priority.

PLANNING – THE BEST WAY TO AVOID A TRAGEDY

Whether a QRT (Quick Response Team) or a pre-planned security detail is needed, detail-oriented planning is necessary. Your team will develop an understanding of the detail in order to provide the most effective service to protect the ‘human resource.’ Once informed with the preliminary information, our professional security team will begin the detailed planning process which is designed to minimize any perceived threat to the executives and their families. The planning process will cover every reasonable worst case scenario and deliver solutions to deal with any foreseen eventuality. Your team will consider the 3 major areas in the protection detail. These are:

  • The route – to and from all identified venues. This Advance will include alternative routes, communication black-spots, testing of the selected routes to mimic the time and day of the event, and emergency center identification.
  • The event – including who’s organizing the event, whether it’s private or public event, security arrangements, media interest, IMG (Incident Management Group) interest.
  • The venue –Whether a residence, workplace, or special event venue, a thorough study of the venue(s) will be conducted.

*Once the reconnaissance is completed and all data collected, your team will compile detailed planning reports on all aspects of the security operation.
